Q

What does the warning tone generator provide us with?

A

Two warning tone generators compute and provide the warning tones which alert the flight crew to specific abnormalities or system failures.

The WTG’s receive parameters from various aircraft equipment and generate and prioritize the associated tones.

The tones are heard through the cockpit speakers and the pilot headsets.
