- Lack of pitch authority

RECOGNIZE AND CONFIRM
[PF, PM] “Upset”
[PF] disconnect autopilot and autothrottle
PUSH
[PF] “Push”
[PF] Control column - smoothly apply forward pressure, unload less than 1g, but not less than 0g
ROLL
[PF] “Roll”
[PF] Roll in the shortest direction to level wings
THRUST
[PF] “Thrust”
[PF] Thrust as required
[PF] Speed brakes as required
STABILIZE
[PF] “Stabilize”
[PF] Attitude, airspeed, configuration - adjust
[PF] Autopilot and autothrottles - As desired
[PF/PM] Structural damage/controllability- Assess
