During any rejected takeoff, the Captain shall:

  1. Announce “Reject” or “Reject, I have the aircraft”
  2. Close the thrust levers
  3. Disconnect the autothrottle
  4. Use RTO auto brakes or initiate max braking
  5. Manually raise the speed brake lever
  6. Apply maximum reverse thrust
  7. Call for “Rejected Takeoff checklist”
