Pusan
By September 1950, the US and South Korean forces had retreated to the Pusan Perimeter.
Inchon
MacArthur launched an amphibious landing on September 15th taking 8000 casualties.
38th parallel
On September 27th Seoul was recaptured. On September 30th the US forces crossed the border into North Korea. On October 19th Pyongyang was captured.
Yala river
When the US forces reached the Yala river, 150,000 Chinese soldiers moved into North Korea.
Chosin Reservoir
November 1950, The US was saved by air supremacy, however there was a 50% casualty rate. 25% frostbite.
Iron triangle
During 1951-3 there was fighting at the Iron Triangle. There were fierce battles at Heartbreak Ridge (6000 shells a day) and Pork Chop Hill.
