Presentation of angina?
A
Chest pain- heavy, tight and gripping. Can be difficult for patients to describe.
Characteristic patterns brought on by exertion and fades with rest.
Usually no abnormal findings on examination but should check for hyperlipidaemia e.g. xanthomas.
Diagnosis can be made on clinical assessment alone.

Two types of revascularisation?
A
PCI (placing in stents) or CABG (by passing the blockage by anastomosing other arteries onto the ascending aorta.

What type of revascularisation in STEMI?
A
Primary PCI

When is revascularisation done in chronic stable angina? And what type?
A
Severe symptoms or high risk and PCI or CABG is determined by discussion
