Condensate Flashcards
What is the tech spec minimum of the CST?
- 182,000gal
What are the HWP auto starts?
- Low # at:
130# (U1)
110# (U2)
What are the HWP trips?
- Overload/Overcurrent
What powers the HWPs?
- 1/2D North
- 1/2A Middle
- 1/2C South
What are the CBP auto starts?
- Low pressure at 325#
What are the CBP trips?
- Overload/Overcurrent
What is the flow capacity of the LP #1 heaters?
- Each string supplies 50% flow (We have 3)
What is the flow capacity of the LP #2-4 heaters?
- Each string supplies 80% flow (we have 2 strings) with a bypass that can provide 20% flow via CRV-224
What does CRV-55 do for you?
- Allows makeup from the CST to the Condenser Hotwells (Sensed on A and C hotwell lvl)
What does CRV-155 do for you?
- Allowd for excess condensate from hotwells to go back to the CST (Sensed on A and C hotwell lvl)
What does CRV-224 (2,3,4 Heater bypass valve) do?
- Allows having a heater string out and provides 20% flow
- Auto modulates open when MFP suction < 240#
- Trips open at 210# MFP Suction #
How do you reset CRV-224 (2,3,4 Heater bypass valve)?
- To reset, MFP Suction pressure > 260# and run controller to open
What do CRV-201-203 (Condensate Booster Pump Recirc Valves) do?
- Maintain 4000 gpm on running pumps
- ** Flow switch is on the common discharge header**
Where is the flow switch located for the Condensate Booster Pump Recirc Valves?
- ** Flow switch is on the common discharge header**
What do CMO-101(102) (SJAE bypass valves) allow?
- Manually position to achieve desired DP across SJAEs
- Prevents exceeding design flow of SJAEs
