Tanto + noun + quanto. = as much as, as many as
** ~~agree in gender and number with the noun they modify.
Tanto quanto = as much as. **follows a verb and is invariable
They received as many presents as they wanted.
Is it true you earn as much as I do?

È vero che guadagni (tanto) quanto me? Ie. Invariable and not separated.
