- People afraid to leave their homes, especially at night
- Vandalism, graffiti and litter

- People going to particular shops and cafes to avoid other groups
- Failing schools with little provision for the community

Identity
A sense of belonging linked to an individual or a group based on gender, social and ethnic origins, sexuality, employment or values.
Why is it important to have your own identity/
It helps develop a personality within a society which you live, allowing you to relate to traditions and origins and to adopt and to experience the values.
Multiculturalism/ Cultural Diversity
This means the society is made up different ethnic groups. It is about acceptance and focusing on the positive rather than the problems.
How do British values help society?
It helps society because reduce the fear of groups. It educate people of differences and similarities and make groups more tolerable.
Allows people to develop their identity.
Why does cultural diversity existed?
- People migrate (Migration)
- EU and the commonwealth
- People seek asylum
- British values encourage people to come into the UK
