Q

Who brought the Gospel to Colossae originally?

A

Epaphras! Perhaps one of the 12 from Acts 19:7. He’s also the one who brought news to Paul in Rome that the church in Colossae was under pressure to accept different teaching to the true gospel. In the letter of Philemon Epaphras is said to be a fellow prisoner for Christ.

Q

How did Jesus overcome the Torah law?

A

He is what the Law points to and so completely fulfills the law, lacking nothing in himself. There is no Jesus and… (like Gal). 2:17, “These are a shadow of things to come, but the substance belongs to Christ.”
