when should kid first go to dentist
within 6 months of the first tooth eruption or by one year of age. Additionally, the AAP states that all children should be screened by 6 months to see if they are at a higher risk of developing caries. Your community, however, may not have a pediatric dentist. Also, many general dentists feel that the first visit should be at age 3 years.
This is an unresolved issue between general and pediatric dentists.

Risk of lead poisoning is increased in patients who live in homes built before the 1950s. Additionally, this patient does not complain of other symptoms suggestive of lead poisoning: weight loss, lethargy, vomiting, and learning difficulties.
