- runs about or climbs in inappropriate situations (in adults: feeling restless)
- unable to play or engage in activities quietly
- often on the go
- talks excessively
- blurts out an answer
- difficulty waiting their turn
- often interrupts or intrudes on others

alcohol use disorder A=
a problematic pattern of alcohol use leading to clinically significant impairment or distress, at least 2 during 12 months:

- desire or unsuccessful efforts to cut down or control alcohol use
- great deal of time spent in activities necessary to obtain/use/recover from alcohol
- craving
- failure to fulfill major role obligations
- continued use despite having social/interpersonal problems due to alcohol
- social/occupational/recreational activities are given up due to alcohol use
- recurrent use when it is physically hazardous
- continued use despite having a persistent physical/psychological problem due to alcohol
- tolerance (need for more or diminished effect of the same amount)
- withdrawal (either actually withdrawal, or alcohol is taken to avoid withdrawal)
