What causes Agromegaly?
Growth Hormone secreting adenoma in the pituitary gland.
What causes Conn’s disease?
Adrenal Adenoma –> high serum aldosterone
Patients with Conn’s disease are characterized by what symptoms?
-Hypertension
-High serum aldosterone
-Low renin levels
(Aldosterone secreting adenoma)
(accounts for 70% cases of Primary Hyperaldosteronism)
What is Cushing’s Syndrome?
Endocrine disorder due to increased levels of cortisol in the blood.
