What is the function of the Circulatory system?
To deliver the body with nutrients, oxygen and the gas exchange.
What is the structure of the circulatory system?
The heart is the main component to the circulatory system. It pumps the blood around the body and keeps the blood vessels moving.
What colour is the blood when it enters the heart?
Blue
Where does the oxygenated blood enter from?
The Superior Vena Cava and the Inferior Vena Cava into the right Atrium.
What does Artery imply?
Away from the heart.
What does Vein imply?
To the heart.
What does pulmonary imply?
Anything to do with the lungs.
What happens when the blood reaches to lungs?
It receives oxygen and turns red.
Where does the oxygenated blood enter from?
Through the pulmonary veins to the left Atrium.
What happens to the blood once it enter the left ventricle?
it gets pumped back around the body through the Aorta.
