**If unavoidable, for safety and to ensure military protocol is observed, personnel should stop and step aside to conduct business before proceeding**

- maximum of one ring per hand.
**engagement/wedding ring or class/wedding ring sets are counted as one(1) ring**
(UNIFORM REG.) earrings when in uniform
- one earring per ear centered on the earlober for women
- earrings will be 4-6mm ball stud (aprx. 1/8-1/4 inch)
**not authorized for men in uniform at any time or when on leave or liberty on a military facility**

- concealed except on ODU where they are carried in the slot of the botton fly front covering, that is ~4 inches below the top botton hole of the ODU blouse.

- prohibited while in uniform, except while commuting as a passenger.

- blousing bands are optional: if not used, trousers can be tucked into boot, and then adjusted to appear bloused.

Eyewear or Sunglasses

- Frame, Lens, contact lens styles will not be so outlandish as to cause distraction from military bearing.
- Sunglass frames and lens shall be black in color.
- If retainer straps are required, they will be plain, black or blue and worn snugly against the back of head.
- Eyewear or sunglasses shall be worn over the eyes, and not on the head or cover.

Worn with uniform of the day as required only for military duties or a legitimate urgent need, clipped to waistband behind side seam of shirt or in a pocket if they do not detract from the uniforms appearance.
