Samuel&Kings was more negative with rebellions and tragedy whereas Chronicles was more positive with apostasy but hope in spite of tragedy.

Samuel&Kings had a message of judgement whereas Chronicles had a message of Hope.

Samuel&Kings had man’s failings and Chronicles had God’s faithfulness.

A

Temple was physical while the church is a spiritual temple.

Presence of God filled the temple at its beginning, Holy Spirit filled the church at the beginning.

Solomons temple was the center of spiritual life in Israel the church is to be the spiritual center of the world.

The Temple reminded the people of God’s heavenly rule over them and with them and the church is to remind all people of God’s rule over and presence with them.

Temple degenerated into symbolism and form and the church is sometimes reduced to form and symbolism.
