How would the crucifixion impact the life and
beliefs of Christians today?
It would impact the life and beliefs of Christians today because:
-It would give them confidence to accept Jesus’ sacrifice so that sin can no longer destroy their lives as God forgives those who sin.
They believe that suffering is a part of life.
Having also experienced it, God understands what the
sufferer is going through.
What’s judgement?
Judgement is where God who decides the fate of those who die. God will take into account the life of
the person and the extent to which they have tried to get close to him,
What do Christians believe will guarantee them a good life?
Christians believe that simply treating other people well and in accordance with Christian morality is not
enough to guarantee a good afterlife.
Whats purgatory?
Purgatory is the intermediate state where souls are
cleansed in order to enter heaven
What’s the original sin?
The original sin is the belief that everyone has a built in urge to sin.
