- Dilation of the duct >5mm (stone)

Management of cholecystitis

- Bowel rest
- IV fluids and electrolyte correction
- IV ceftriaxone + metronidazole
- Antiemetics
- Analgesics
- Surgery (25-30% require surgery) - laparoscopic cholecystectomy or ERCP
