  2. Nausea and vomiting

Management of cholecystitis

A
  1. Bowel rest
  2. IV fluids and electrolyte correction
  3. IV ceftriaxone + metronidazole
  4. Antiemetics
  5. Analgesics
  6. Surgery (25-30% require surgery) - laparoscopic cholecystectomy or ERCP
