What are the 4 stages of childhood development?
Infancy (0-2), early childhood (2-6), middle childhood (6-12), adolescence (12-18).
What are the two types of conditioning (way babies learn) ?
Classical conditioning (behaviours acquired through the process of associative learning between two stimuli). Operant conditioning (behaviours acquired through the process of positive and negative reinforcement (punishment).

Scheme (cognitive structure providing procedure in circumstances). Assimilation (using scheme to make sense of event/experience. Accommodation (changing scheme as a result of new information). Equilibration (balancing assimilation and accommodation to create scheme that fit environment).
What is spina bifida?
Failure of closure of the spinal cord.
