ONLY HAZMAT 2ND PIECE RECEIVES DIFFERENTIAL WITHOUT RESPONSE, DRILL, ETC. (aside from normal ECC, Lcc, squad , rescue chauffeurs )

Question 5

Following Units should start with 1 school trained and 1 company trained ?

-Backups for these units, as well as collapse, decon, planning, satellite

-if more than 1 school trained is available in the same quarters, they shall be used before company trained
(meaning, if a guy is across the floor and school trained chauffeur, he should work in the company)

• notify BC
• remain in service with school or COMPANY trained chauffeur
• if NO SCHOOL TRAINED is available citywide, unit shall REMAIN IN SERVICE with COMPANY TRAINED

Chauffeur Pay Differential?

Answer 9

• Only back up Chauffeur that gets paid regardless of response is HAZ-MAT 2ND PIECE
• all other units are eligible only for tours when such apparatus is actually EMPLOYED (alarm, drill)
• Chauffeur pay will NOT exceed tour (late run, return at 9:30 am, only paid until 9:00 am)
• Chauffeur pay stops when leave is granted (member goes on medical leave 3 after start of tour, only paid for 3 hours)
