note:engine out of quarters, receiving notification to respond, should NOT RETURN TO QUARTERS for extra foam
(additional foam cans will be stored with spare wrenches)

When response to a street box, reveals that the alarm was transmitted for a LEAK from the pipeline..IC shall transmit?
2nd alarm
- dispatch will transmit using street box to which units originally responded as per SOP
- however if leak is found a distance from this location, dispatch shall use a closer box location
Units without special wrenches, maps, cards?
Notify dispatcher
Valves should always be closed per duties by instruction cards, except….?
to PROTECT LIFE IN A SERIOUS LIFE THREATENING SITUATION
-if this unit is diverted from isolation duties, notify dispatch

all ignition sources in the path of drifting vapors must be extinguished, then all ignition sources in area must be extinguished
Potential for explosion greatest on?
hot/humid/calm days
Dikes may contain spills or divert flow from subways, railroad cuts or tunnels
