A

Develop team is the process of improving competencies, team member interaction, and the overall team environment to enhance project performance

Manage team is the process of tracking team performance, providing feedback, resolving issues, and manage team changes to optimise project performance

Note that these both count as “Executing” processes

Name five conflict resolution techniques

A
  1. Collaborating (problem solving): parties openly discuss differences to arrive at a consensus. A win-win
  2. Compromising (reconciling): find a solution to bring some degree of satisfaction to both parties. A lose – lose situation
  3. Withdrawal (avoidance): the parties retreat or postpone the decision on a problem
  4. Smoothing (accommodating): this includes making some concessions and it emphasises agreement rather than differences of opinion. It does not result in a permanent or complete resolution
  5. Forcing (directing): pushing one viewpoint at the expense of another. A win lose situation
