What are the different types of power that a project manager can have and what are deemed to be the best ones and the worst one?

Reward and expert are usually the best forms of power and penalties the worst
Name five conflict resolution techniques
- Collaborating (problem solving): parties openly discuss differences to arrive at a consensus. A win-win
- Compromising (reconciling): find a solution to bring some degree of satisfaction to both parties. A lose – lose situation
- Withdrawal (avoidance): the parties retreat or postpone the decision on a problem
- Smoothing (accommodating): this includes making some concessions and it emphasises agreement rather than differences of opinion. It does not result in a permanent or complete resolution
- Forcing (directing): pushing one viewpoint at the expense of another. A win lose situation
