When looking at a client with Upper Crossed Syndrome, what are the Weak and Tight muscles?
A
- Weak - Deep cervical spine flexors, Long cervical spine extensors, Lower, Middle Traps, Rhomboids
- Tight - Upper traps, Pectorals

When looking at a client with Lower Crossed Syndrome what muscles are Tight and Weak?
A
- Weak - Lower abdominals, Gluteus Maximus, Gluteus Medius, Proximal Hamstrings
- Tight - Rectus Femoris, Lumbar portion of the erector spinae

What is Upper Crossed Syndrome?
A
- Postural stress results from imbalances in the muscles that bridge the head, neck, shoulder girdle, and thorax
- Clients will usually have forward head posture, depressed sternum, and short and tight upper abdominal muscles.

If a client comes to you and has bad posture from sitting at work all day what stretches would you assign them?
A
- Pectorals - Doorway/Wall stretch
- Trapezius - Shoulder depression, neck side to side
- Rectus abdominis - Cobra Stretch
- Deltoids - Arm across stretch, reach back and turn stretch
