High-tech Politics
Politics in which technology increasingly shape the behaviors of citizens or policymakers, as well as the political agenda itself.
Mass Media
Television, radio, newspapers, magazines, the internet and other means of popular communication.
Media Event
Events purposely staged for the media nonetheless look spontaneous. They can be staged by individuals, or government officials (often times by the president).
Press Conference
Meetings with public officials with reporters.
Investigative Journalism
The use of in-depth reporting to uncover scandals, scams and schemes, which at times puts reporters at adversarial times with political leaders.
Print Media
Any type of paper media like newspapers and magazines.
Electronic media
Television, internet or the radio in comparison to print media.
Narrowcasting
Media programming to specific cable tv and the internet that is particularly aimed at a particular interest in contrast to broadcasting.
