federalism

Unitary government
A way of organizing a government so all power resides in the national government.
Intergovernmental relations
The workings of a federal systems. (set of interactions made by state and local officials like transactions and sharing of informations).
Supremacy clause
In article six of the constitution, it was stated the U.S constitution, Laws of congress and treaties are the most supreme.
Tenth Amendment
Established so that the federal government can check themselves.
McCulloch v Maryland
A court case in 1819 that addressed and established the supremacy of the national government over state government.

What the dictionary definition of the powers of the government and what is specifically written in the constitution.

What the powers of congress is interpreted as by the federal government.
