- Modern methods are used.
- It produces large outputs and profits.
What is Small Scale Subsistence Farming?
- It is practiced on a small scale.
- A farmer works with his family. Traditional methods are used.
- The output is for self-consumption.

Advantages:

- Meets requirements of international standards
- Consistent quality of crops
Disadvantages:
- needs training
- Expensive/poor farmers cannot afford them
- Not seen as a healthy crop
- Exhausts soil
Describe the type of farming shown in the photograph
- Nomadic Livestock Farming
- The farmer moves from one place to another with his animals in search of fodder, water, and shelter.
How is the keeping of buffalo different from the type of farming in Photograph A?
- Kept singly for domestic use
