What is Plantar Fasciitis?
Inflammation of the fascia (fibrous tissue) on the sole of the foot that connects the heel bone to the base of the toes.

Plantar Fasciitis
Who are the most common people that have Plantar Fasciitis?
Long distance runners or people who work long hours on their feet.
What are the main symptoms of Plantar Fasciitis?
Stabbing on the bottom of the foot near the heel that is often worse when getting out of bed in the morning.
What does Plantar mean?
Sole of the foot.
What are the treatments for Plantar Fasciitis?
Stretching exercises, anti-inflammatory medication, ice, and an arch support may also be recommended, steroid injection into the plantar fascia may be indicated.
