Dark and light bands in the muscle fibers that create a striped appearance.
Why does Smooth Muscles have this name?
Because they don’t have Striations
What does Smooth Muscles makeup?
The wall of hollow organs (intestines, stomach, uterus, etc) or the internal muscles of the eye
The action of Smooth Muscles are voluntary or involuntary?
Involuntary control, they are not consciously directed.
What does the Myocardial or Cardiac Muscles makeup?
The wall of the heart.
What is the function of the Myocardial Muscles?
They are responsible for the forceful contractions of the heart.
