is the reason why employees want to work hard and work effectively for the business
Why do people work?

employees are motivated by financial incentives or all workers are motivated by money
Criticism of F taylor
-ideas were too simplistic
-you can pay money to employees but what if they are still not satisfied
-a problem arises if you cant measure the employees output
Maslow hierarchy
explains how employees are motivated to fulfill their needs in a hierarchical order.
