Q

What is the organic chemical composition of bones?

A

Extracellular Matrix - Collagen and Elastin fibers form the Bone Matrix
Cells:
Osteoblasts (build new bones - ossification - make mineral deposits)
Osteoclasts (breaks down bone “resorption”)
Osteocytes (reside in bone cells - trapped)
