How are we priest, prophet, and king?
Prophet- we spread the Good News by our actions and words
Priest- unite selves with Jesus at Mass and offer ourselves to the Father
King- we are God’s sons and daughters, heirs to the Kingdom of Heaven- we serve others
When does the reign of God start?
Now. We don’t have to wait for Heaven for it. Whenever we act
Ike Jesus would, we are proclaiming the reign of God because it is one of peace, love, and justice, not a place.

He was telling people that the Savior was coming, and that they needed to repent for their sins. The way to get rid of your sins was to be baptized.
So Jesus was sinless, yet he still wanted to be baptized. Why?
He wasn’t repenting for himself, he was representing everyone in the world when he was baptized.

Pride- not a kingdom of magic tricks. The focus is on the needs of others
Power- power used for God’s kingdom of peace, justice, and love- not military or worldly love

He had been praying, he was fasting, and he answered the devil with Scripture

Describe the three types of sin.
Original sin- Adam and Eve passed it on to their descendants, who are born without grace. Because of this sin we are vulnerable to evil
Venial sin- an offense that weakens our relationship with God
Mortal sin- a serious offense against God that breaks our relationship with him and causes us to lose grace
The degree of guilt for mortal sin depends on:
