Cyanosis

A

Color change of the skin to light shade blue. Not getting enough oxygen cause by heart or lung disease. Hemoglobin which is pigment in blood attaches with oxygen to make red. So when less oxygen the hemoglobin is more blue

Erythema

A

Red.

Inflammatory responses like allergic reaction dilated blood vessels.

A

Yellow. Usually and problem with the liver or the associated bladder. Liver breaks down waste called bilirubin. This bilirubin colors yellow

A

After fall. Blood vessels are broken in the papillary layer and blood leaks out to surrounding dermis. This blood gives up oxygen and becomes a different color. Red green blue black

Albinism

A

Melanocytes can’t make melanin. There is an enzyme missing so skin is colorless. We can see the hemoglobin below the epidermis giving the skin a pinkish color

Paleness cause by reduced amount of blood in the skin. Blood can be sent to deeper vessels during illness, emotional shock, stress, and other causes
