- During early childhood, growth slows down. Girls are slightly smaller and lighter than boys. Girls gain fat, boys gain muscle.
- During middle and late childhood, theres slower consistent growth. Muscle mass and strength increases. Boys are stronger and body proportions change.

What is difference in development in a child who was born in high SES and a child who was born into a low SES?
A
children raised in low SES will experience divergences in terms of growth and have slower growth. If they are raised in a high SES they will progress in a typical manner
