Requirements
Specifications or characteristics of the deliverables that must be met to satisfy the needs of the project, broken down into their most basic compenents.
Business Analysis
Applying knowledge, skills ad tools to determine business needs
Business Analyst
People who meet with stakeholders and document their requirements for the project utilizing business analysis techniques
Business Rule
Constraints to the project that are determined by company policy or institutional regulation.
Assumption
Events or actions believed to be true.
Assumption log
A document that logs assumptions and constraints and their descriptions
Project scope statement
Documents the project goals and deliverables and serves as a baseline for future project decisions.

Exclusions
Deliverables or requirements that the team identifies as not essential to complete this phase of the project.
Statement of Work
Describes the work of a project and the overall objectives and includes the business need for the project
Project Scope Management plan
Describes how the project scope and work breakdown will be defined and describes and documents how project scope is managed throughout the project.
