EX of intradisciplinary team
-A PT and PTA working together in a homehealth care setting where other services are not necessary
multidisciplinary team
-members work separately and independently in their different disciplines.
-they do not need to meet or collaborate with each other
-competition may happen
interdisciplinary team
work together within all disciplines to set goals relevant to the patients/clients individual case.
-all collaborate in decision making but evaluation and interventions done separately. (SNF, PEDIATRIC CLINIC)
which team is the most successful in regard to patients outcome?
