The spinal cord is made up of a long column of neurones ( nerve cells) this runs from the bottom of the brain to the base of the spine and the cord branches of at certain points to reach different parts of your body

Higher quality than CT scans . They use radioactive chemicals to show active parts of brain. Very detailed and can show function and structure of brain in real time
Can be used to easily spot disorders that can change a body’s activity eg Alzheimer’s.
