What is human behavior?
Human behavior is the outcome of interaction within and among systems of interrelated parts
What is conflict perspective?
How power structures and power disparities impact people’s lives
conflicts arise due to inequalities in resource distribution
trying to advance their own interest over others
unequal divided power in social groups
non-dominant groups being manipulated/controlled by dominant groups
What is exchange and choice perspective?
All behavior is a series of exchanges. individuals want to maximise rewards and minimize costs
actors seek and exchange resources and the choices made in pursuit of those resources
What is social constructionist perspective
How people construct meaning, sense of self, and a social world through interactions with each other
what is Psychodynamic Perspective?
How internal processes such as needs, drives, and emotions motivate behavior
Developmental Perspective
How behavior unfolds across the life course, how people change and stay the same over time
Behavioral Perspective
Behavior is learned as individuals interact with their environment
Classical conditioning
