A
A racist group that disguised themselves with white sheets and hoods. They used fear and violence to deny rights to the freed African American men and women, and whites who supported them.

A
It was a system where landowners rented land to sharecroppers or farmers. Sharecroppers gave a percentage of their crops to the landowner.
