The ability of an economy to support a defined level of economic production indefinitely.
Environmental sustainability
The rates of renewable resource harvest, pollution creation, and non-renewable resource depletion that can be continued indefinitely.
Fair trade
Trade in which fair prices are paid to producers in developing countries.
Privatization
The process of transferring an enterprise or industry from the public sector to the private sector.
The 3 pillars of sustainability
Social, Environment, Economic - People, Planet, Profits
Tragedy of the commons
An economic problem in which every individual tries to reap the greatest benefit from a given resource.
Worldview
A particular philosophy of life or conception of the world.
