When to not take oral temperature
unconscious, recent facial or oral surgery, younger then 5 years old, confused or disoriented, heavily sedated, likely to have a seizure, coughing, using oxygen
radial pulse

systolic phase
top number of the blood pressure reading and shows the pressure on the walls of the arteries as blood is pumped throughout the bdoy
diastolic phase
bottom number of the reading and is when the heart relaxes and should always be lower then the systolic measurement.
hypertension
constant high blood pressure
hypotension
blood pressure that is too low
