  1. Atkinson and Endsley: 4-6 year olds and parents responds to (hitting playmate back, crying on first day of school); different reaction to different gender
  2. Lambert: parents, child and guest. other parents would listen to conversation and the mother would stick up for son and father for daughter and other parent would agree with guest.
  3. Langois and Downs: child was asked to play with both stereo types of toys. Parents response was negative (especially father) for cross-sex play
