Attribution theory
Cause of behavior are due to external or internal attributions
Fundamental Attribution Error
Observers have bias in favor of internal attributions in explaining behavior
Self-serving bias
People attribute one’s successes to personal factors and one’s failures to situational factors

More important to people in becoming attracted to another rather than personality
Similarity
More similar people tend to date and get married to opposite people

You will like another person more if they show signs of liking you and vice versa

Group members express concurrence at the expense of critical thinking when making a decision
