Exhibitionism
Recurrent urge to expose ones genitals to an unsuspecting person.
Gets off on response from victim
What are paraphilias?
Abnormal sexual behaviors or impulses characterized by intense sexual fantasies/urges that keep coming back. Person cannot achieve orgasm unless they engage in this behavior.
Fetishism
Use of objects or body parts to gain sexual excitement. (Whips, ropes, balloons, role play, feet) Masturbation accompanies fetishtic behavior. Learning from media, parents, etc. involved in development.
Transvestic fetishism
Sexual attraction towards the clothing of the opposite gender.
Male dominant
Voyeurism
The recurrent urge or behavior to observe an unsuspecting person who is naked, changing, or engaging in sexual behavior.
Sense of power, fills curiosity in youngsters, suspense and danger adds excitement
Sadism
Sexual gratification caused by inflicting pain or humiliation on someone
Masochism
Behavior of wanting to be beaten, bound, humiliated, or made to suffer.
Frotteurism
The reoccurring urges or behavior of touching or rubbing against a non-consenting person
Chronosphilias
Sexual attraction to a particular age range
Infantophilia: sexual attraction to infants
Pedophilia: sexual attraction to prepubescent children
Gerontophilia: sexual attraction to elderly
Sexual interest and arousal disorder
Reduced interest in sex for a minimum of 6 months
Causes significant distress
Unresponsive to partner
Child sexual abuse or child molestation
An adult or older adolescent uses a child for sexual stimulation. Asking or pressuring a child into sexual activity regardless of outcome.
