The structure contracts/relaxes to move testies close/away from body to regulate temp.
Why does the body need to regulate the sperm temp?
Sperm needs to be produced in a place few degrees lower than body temp.
What are the seminiferous tubules?
It is the site of sperm production and spermato genesis.
Where are the seminiferous tubules?
They are located in the testies.
In order to protect sperm, what does the body have surround the testicle?
Pain receptors.
What is the epididimis?
It stores immature sperm and it is where the maturation occurs.
What is the Vas Deferens?
It is storage of mature sperm, it is the “path way out”, it also merges with the urethra.
