Satyakama Jaballa story and implication
Boy asks brahmin to teach him veda despite not knowing what lineage he is from. His honest answer regards him worthy of teaching and this implies either his father was a brahmin or he by quality can become a brahmin.

Father sends son to school to become a brahmin indicating that some people had to go to school to become brahmins while others were brahmins by birth.

contain seeds that end up producing the tree. Can’t see the tree in the seed but it still has the potential to produce a tree similarly atman can’t be seen but it is behind the vitality of all life.

A tree or any living object may die but their souls are eternal.

After several lessons indra realizes that there are four stages of coniousness 1. body-suffers death and disease 2. conciousness in dreams-suffers fear and pain 3. Conciousness in deep sleep- not aware of anything, can’t percieve anything even if aware. 4.Awarerness- free from suffering
