A

stomach, liver, spleen, kidneys, small intestine, and most of large intestine

18
Q

What organs are in the Pelvic cavity

A

bladder and genitals

19
Q

Membrane

A

thin pliable tissue that covers, lines, partitions, or connects structures

20
Q

serous membrane

A

is a double layered membrane that associated with body cavities that does not open directly to the exterior

21
Q

Pleura

A

the serous membrane associated with the lungs

Visceral Pleura

A

serous membrane that covers the outside of lungs

23
Q

Parietal Pleura

A

lines the chest wall and covers the superior surface of the diaphragm

24

A

the serous membrane of the heart

25
Q

Visceral Pericardium

A

serous membrane that covers the surface of the heart

26
Q

Parietal Pericardium

A

lines the Visceral pericardium that surrounds the heart

Q

Peritoneum

A

the serous membrane of the abdominal cavity

28
Q

Visceral Peritoneum

A

covers the abdominal viscera

29
Q

Parietal Peritoneum

A

lines abdominal walls and covers the inferior surface of the diaphragm

30
Q

intraperitoneal

A

the abdominal organs that are covered in peritoneum. Stomach, spleen, gallbladder and more

31
Q

retroperitoneal

A

abdominal organs not completely covered or not covered in peritoneum, kidneys, adrenal glands, pancreas
