A

lasts 6 hours (give through filter), keep room temp

  • gross contamination
  • cancer/malignancy
  • c section (amniotic fluid)
  • topical hemostatic against (ie: gel foam, antigene, herlistat, instat)

Hemoconcentrator size, removes

A

15,000-55,000 daltons = removes plasma water, electrolytes, heparin, meds
(heparin- 6,000-20,000)
**no absolute contradictors (unlike autotransfusion)
