- click the file tab to display backstage view
- click the New button on the left
- type Fax in the search for online templates text box and press enter
- select the fax (urban theme) template

- the letters type allows you to merge any type of document

- click the select recipient button [start mail merge group]
- select use an existing list
- select skiing unlimited volunteers-05 (access database file)
- click open

- click the edit recipient list button [start mail merge group]
- click the check mark next to rick hermenn to remove him from the list
- click ok

insert the address block and greetings line merge fields

- click the address block button [write and insert fields group]
- select mr. joshua randall Jr. in the specify address elements area
- click ok
- click the 2nd blank line below the «AddressBlock»
- click the greeting line button [write and insert fields groups]
- in the greeting line format section click the third drop-down menu
- select the : option
- click ok to insert the greeting line merge into the document

preview mail merge
A
- click the preview results button [preview results group]
- click the next record arrow to preview the next record from your data source
- click the check for errors button [preview results group]
- select the radio button that begins simulate the merge…
- click ok
- click ok
- click the preview results button to turn off the preview

A
- click the mailings tab
- click the start mail merge [start mail merge group]
- click step-by-step mail merge wizard

finish the mail merge
A
- click the finish & merge button [finish group]
- select edit individual documents
- ensure that the All radio button is selected in Merge Records and click ok
