How do we know what we receive from the church is true?
We know we have the truth because it has been handed down from the apostles and is guided by the Holy Spirit. Apostolic succession guarantees the sacrament.
What are the three ways the Church is united as the Mystical Body of Christ?
The church is unified in professing one faith. The church is unified in the sacraments. The church is unified under the pope and bishops.
Why is the church holy?
Christ gives grace to the church to make it holy. The church is holy because her origin is Christ and her goal is the glorification of Christ.
What does it mean to say that the Church´s authority is universal?
It means the church has the universal authority to spread the gospel to all nations. All nations, all people everywhere are called to the church.
What are the rites of the Church
The rites of the church is the church expressed in a diversity of cultures. There are 21 different rites.
