How is the Church an Assembly?
The Church is an assembly because we are brought together and belong to God in the church. Ever since they were gathered at Mt. Sinai, the church is our sign of salvation.

Christ gives the pope infallibility to preserve the church from error. This is so the pope can lead in truth.
Where does the authority of the hierarchy come from.
It comes from the sacrament of Holy Orders. The source of all authority is Christ.
What is the Deposit of Faith?
It is the definitive revelation of Christ given to the apostles. It is everything that the church proposes by belief.
What is the role of the national bishops conferences.
Bishops within the country gather to discuss matters within the country. Bishops have the full authority entrusted by Christ.
How does the term Kyriake describe the church?
Kyriake means belongs to the Lord. The church is defined as belonging to the Lord.
How is the church´s communion with God established?
Communion with God means all the faithful are in communion with each other. The sacraments given by God, such as Baptism and Eucharist, establish this communion.
What are the extraordinary actions of the Magisterium?
The ecumenical council and when the pope speaks ex cathedra are the extraordinary actions. Ecumenical council refers to when bishops gather to discuss matters. Ex cathedra is when the pope speaks from the chair infallibly.
What is apostolic tradition?
It is the authority of the apostles being passed down to bishops, priests, and deacons. It emphasizes how sacred tradition comes from God…………..
What does the congregation of the Doctrine of Faith do?
They deal with matters pertaining to the promotion of the doctrine of faith such as heresy and schism. They also protect the morals of the Church.
What is the symbol of the bishop´s authority.
The symbol is the cathedral. It is the place of a bishop´s chair
What kind of leadership is the hierarchy called to?
Those called to authority are to lead by service. They should reflect God´s own love for the lowest.
What does the Congregation for the Causes of Saints do?
They pertain to matters of beatification and canonization. They also determine canonical procedure for verifying authenticity of sacred relics.
What is the Roman Curia?
It is the administrative offices that aid the pope in governing day to day life of the church. They serve under the pope.
What is the main role of a bishop?
It is to celebrate the sacraments. They also lead a diocese.
