Sensation (irrational) - based on sight, hearing, touch, etc.

Judging - plan, organized, structured
Perceiving - more spontaneous, impulsive

Changing the centre of your psychological universe from the Ego to the Integrated self
Adler - Masculine Protest
An attempt to be competent and independent, to gain power from abilities, skills, and knowledge
Adler - Compensation
A way to overcome the sense of feeling powerless
Adler - Strive for Superiority
The drive to become better than we were before, to be competent
Adler - Perfect Striving
Meeting fictional goals - imagined future achievements, the ideal of a goal; fictional goal is to strive for the ultimate goal

Adler - Inferiority & Superiority Complexes
Overwhelmed by the sense of superiority which leads to inferiority
Birth Order - First Born struggles
Star of the show, lots of parental interactions, likes being in charge, high achievers, follows the status quo

Might get caught up in the power struggle, possibly seek out their own direction, leading the charge
Birth Order - Last Born struggles
Struggles the most with power, more likely to get an inferiority complex, siblings aren’t around as much
Personality Type: Ruling-Dominant
Person is aggressive, domineering, low in social interest, high in activity, and self-focus
Personality Type: Getting-Leaning
Person takes from others and is somewhat passive, low in social interest and activity, self-focus, and dependent
Personality Type: Avoiding
Person runs away from problems, very low social interest and low activity, self-focus
Personality Type: Socially Useful
Person meets problems realistically, is cooperative and caring, high social interest, high activity, other-focused, striving for superiority
